As a member of the President\'s executive cabinet, and a direct report to the President, the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and Advancement oversees and provides overall leadership of the Montgomery Community College Foundation, as well as the Institutional Effectiveness/Research, Marketing and Public Relations, and Special Projects divisions of the College. The Dean also leads all institutional strategic planning, assessment, accreditation, and research functions of the College. Serving as the SACSCOC liaison, the Dean coordinates institutional compliance to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) standards by overseeing SACSCOC reviews and evaluations, the development and implementation of the Quality Enhancement Plan, and by ensuring continuous institutional effectiveness. and improvement. Serving as the institutional and Data Coordinator, the Dean oversees all federal, state, and local data and reporting requirements and processes. The Dean plays an ongoing and comprehensive role in the evaluation of academic programs and institutional support services. Serves as the site lead for the AWESM grant, a federal Department of Labor grant that implements the BILT (Business Industry Leadership Team) model to align curriculum to workforce/industry needs in the program areas of Welding, Industrial System Technology, Computer Machining Technology, and Mechatronics.
