I am a BSBA graduate in Finance & Banking from Appalachian State University, currently continuing my education as an MBA candidate with an expected completion in December 2026 through the university’s accelerated program. This path has allowed me to deepen my understanding of financial strategy, decision-making, and leadership while building a strong foundation for a career in finance.This past summer, I interned with AgSouth Farm Credit as a Lending Intern, where I gained hands-on exposure to credit analysis and relationship-based lending, particularly within agricultural and rural finance. The experience strengthened my analytical skills and built on prior exposure from an investment management internship, reinforcing my interest in finance as a service-oriented profession focused on helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals.Through academic and professional experiences, I’ve developed strengths in communication, leadership, and people-focused problem-solving. I’m especially drawn to roles that balance client collaboration with analytical work, requiring both strong interpersonal skills and critical thinking. I enjoy working with data, identifying trends, and translating insights into actionable outcomes.Outside of academics and work, I enjoy golfing, playing pickleball, and staying active in the gym. I also spend time on my family’s farm in the fall, particularly during deer hunting season. Beyond the outdoors, I have a strong interest in classic literature and sports analytics, where I’m fascinated by how data influences performance and strategy across different sports.I’m currently seeking opportunities to continue growing in finance, especially roles that blend client interaction with analytical responsibilities. I’m always open to connecting with professionals in lending, investment management, and financial services.
