About Hunt Willard
Starting with my first introduction to human genetics 50 years ago, my driving interests - through research, education, leadership, advising, consulting, and service - have been to advance our understanding of the life sciences and biomedicine, especially using genetics and genomics, and to explore their broad implications and implementation for individuals, medicine, and society. Throughout my career, these interests have spanned scientific and leadership roles in academia, healthcare, and industry. I am now a part-time advisor and consultant to health systems, foundations, and industry, with a focus on genomics and precision health.

As Chair of SAB, worked closely with the Chief Scientific Officer and executive leadership in that capacity from 20••••17, until appointed Associate Chief Scientific Officer and head of new Geisinger National venture in 2018. Rejoined Geisinger SAB in 2020 and remain active as advisor.
