Grow Rooms Assistance: Providing support and maintenance for the infrastructure and growth of plant material for propagation and research purposes. This includes self and outcross-pollination (introgression) to transfer genetic material, maintaining plants during the growth process, and harvesting. Additionally, it involves preparing supplies (such as mycorrhizae and fertilizer) and disposing of plant waste. Laboratory Assistance: Conducting quality control measurements on field products, assessing enzymatic activity (Phytase, Glucanase), evaluating mycotoxins using lateral flow devices (EnviroLogix, Quick Scan II), determining particle size, measuring moisture content, and collecting data, to measure PMI activity or presence in a plant population to determine zygosity utilizing lateral flow devices. Administration Assistance: Acting as a liaison with companies providing services to Agrivida Inc, ordering supplies and consumables, and managing the supply chain.
