Leads a team of 4, overseeing the ocean import operation consisting of 250 monthly shipments for the Canadian operation# Manages approx. 130 monthly shipment files with the target of zero demurrage, fines and/or other impactors# Responsible for cargo booking, import document preparation, brokerage communication, trucking arrangement# Oversees the on-time cargo delivery to destinations and resolves disputes and conflicts# Leads the routing strategies for multimodal shipments from load port to drop off destination# Coordinates with the terminals, railway yards and port authorities to ensure on-time document processing to ensure profitability# Administers the document archive and trains the team to maintain accurate documentation# Leads the payment and the billing operation including CBSA, transportation partners, facilities and customers# Responsible for customer relationships and management of on-time updates to the customers
