About Nicole Dasilva

Having worked in the areas of luxury goods, medical and IT; for both large and small corporations, as well as, family owned businesses, I am well versed in all areas of HR with an emphasis on employee relations, benefits, compensation, training, DEI and recruitment. I am particularly experienced in the areas of strategic business partnering, developing company culture and mediating disputes. I have served as chief spokesperson and representative to build the bridge of communication with the community, local colleges, and local businesses to enhance awareness of company initiatives. I have earned my qualifications through schooling, continued education and over 20 years of industry experience. Human Resources professionals need to possess an understanding of and ability to deal with sensitive information, such as resumes, background checks, federal forms, performance evaluations, and the many other documents that contain sensitive material. As an HR professional, not only are we bound to the confidentiality of these tasks, but also to the process in which they evolve and resolve. Preparation starts with policy and the procedural documentation that fits with the culture as well as the law. Having the “know how” to process issues in accordance with policies and regulations, and when necessary, partnering with inside and/or outside counsel. As an HR professional, I take pride in demonstrating a professional yet human approach to all situations.
