ABOUT HUMAIRA A.

I am a physiotherapist with a bachelor\'s and masters degree from Jamia Hamdard specialised in Musculoskeletal. I have experience in providing quality care and treatment to patients with Diastasis Recti, Pelvic floor, Postpartum Care and various musculoskeletal conditions, such as arthritis, SI joint dysfunction, lower back pain, sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative rehabilitation. I am also well aware of the cardiac rehabilitation and neurological rehabilitation. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and therapists to design and implement individualized treatment plans, using evidence-based techniques and modalities. I also educate and empower patients on preventive measures, pain management, and self-care strategies. In addition to my clinical role, I participated in the LedBy Accelerator 2022 program, a year-long experiential training and mentoring program for Indian Muslim women who aspire to be leaders in their fields. Through this program, I am enhancing my professional skills, such as communication, networking, negotiation, and problem-solving, and expanding my network of like-minded women who share similar goals and values. I am also paying it forward by mentoring a school girl who wants to pursue a career in physiotherapy. I did my 6 months of internship after my Bachelor\'s at FORTIS ESCORTS HEART INSTITUE, New Delhi a renowned hospital for cardiac care, Sukhdev Vihar, New Delhi. Previously I have worked at KALINDI HOSPITAL - Jasola Vihar, New Delhi, MAJEEDIA HOSPITAL, Jamia Hamdard and HAKEEM ABDUL HAMEED CENTENARY HOSPITAL, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. I am passionate about learning and growing as a physiotherapist and a leader. I am interested in exploring the latest research and innovations in this domain and applying them to my practice. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the advancement of physiotherapy as a profession and to improve the health and well-being of my patients and community.
