Developed Astra, a community-powered travel safety app for solo travellers, awarded Overall Champion (£12,500 funding) in the Ford Smart Mobility Challenge 2025.• Conducted user research through interviews, auto-ethnography, and secondary studies to uncover users’ intrinsic motivations and pain points, defining the app’s MVP and USP.• Co-designed and tested lo-fi to hi-fi prototypes, including storyboards, sitemaps, task flows, wireframes, and interaction mockups; validated through guerrilla usability testing and stakeholder interviews.• Authored UX writing guidelines to ensure a consistent user experience aligned with design principles.• Managed project timelines and mentor collaboration to maintain team cohesion throughout the process.
