Working on the clinical trial study on Porphyria Cutanea Tarda (PCT) U.S. population - genetical and acquired rare liver disease Explored the prevalence of the IVS-48T>C mutation in Asian populations and established a susceptible cohort in high-prevalence regions of China.Led strategic efforts to characterize high-risk populations and initiate translational research planning aimed at future therapeutic development and biomarker discovery for rare porphyric disorders.This work filled a significant knowledge gap in China’s understanding of porphyrias and provided a foundation for region-specific screening policies, risk stratification tools, and public health planning in rare disease management.
