Lead the Retirement Benefits (RB) compliance team to monitor RB business control effectiveness and develop strategies to identify gaps and mitigate risks. Perform annual census reconciliation to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the census data used to calculate KP’s annual expenses and liabilities on employee retirement benefits. Redesigned the census reconciliation process and implemented improvement strategies to achieve process automation and standardization. This project resulted in ~500 hours’ annual saving for the organization. Support KP’s internal and external auditors to perform testing for RB plan audit and financial audit. Build business relationships with internal partners including but not limited to Benefits Administration, Compliance, HR Finance, People Analytics, Labor Economics, and HR Technology; as well as external vendors such as Aon Hewitt, KPMG, Price Waterhouse Coopers, LifeWorks, and Vanguard.
