About Hugo Beraun
I’m passionate about leading and owning projects that tackle today’s biggest challenges, while making technology accessible to every corner of the world through scalable solutions. My purpose is to drive business growth strategies that make this vision real. I’m currently a STEM MBA candidate at the University of Rochester (Simon Business School, Class of ’26). I bring 6+ years of experience in Product Management and Data Analytics, with a special focus on Fintech. I’ve worked on the Global Payments team at Adobe and led Product Strategy for financial inclusion at Yape, the #1 digital wallet in Peru with 18M+ users. I’m equally driven by data. At MercadoLibre (#1 e-commerce in LATAM) and Crehana (Series B EdTech), I led Business Intelligence efforts, leveraging SQL, Python, and Power BI to transform data into insights that enabled CEOs to make critical strategic decisions. Outside of work, I believe in giving back. I founded a nonprofit that helped 300+ small businesses transition to e-commerce during the pandemic.
