   In my current role as Fabrication Supervisor, I:• Oversee the first and second shifts of the Fabrication sheet metal department by planning, organizing, and directing business tasks, with the ability to align the day-to-day activities (short-term goals) with the strategic direction (long-term goals). • Fabricate parts for high volume daily schedules to meet operational objectives by managing automated turret punch presses/CNC/press brakes (Amadas) and multiplying fabric cutting tables (Gerber).• Inspect equipment before operating to guarantee safety, and ensure proper personnel training to run equipment, safety hazards, and hourly inspections for machinery. • Effectively communicate and collaborate with the Production Manager, Master Scheduler, and Materials departments.• Recognize production lapses/weaknesses, develop and implement effective improvements in processes to improve safety, effectiveness, and cost reduction.• Spearhead and contributed to delivering multiple large, high-visibility tasks/projects; Provide change impact, and analysis, ensuring all changes are properly planned and well communicated.• Strictly adhere to and enforce safety standards/regulations in accordance with Johnson Controls Safety Program, OSHA, and EPA.
