I regularly teach four courses which are offered to graduate students:(1)\"Promised Lands and Immigrants,\" a class that examines in comparative interdisciplinary perspective the migration process of Latinas/os to the U.S. and Japan.(2)\"Queering Ecclesiologies and Rites\", designed to introduce students to the place given to gender, sexuality, sexual orientation, the sexual division of labor and gender role expectations within the theo(ideo)/logical discourses and praxis among inclusive Christian churches in Asia and Latin America.(3)\"Queer Studies: Multireligious Perspective,\" a course that takes students to explore how queer studies relate to global religions and regional spiritualities, and(4)\"Queer Liberation Theologies in the Latin American, Asian, and African Context,\" which is designed to explore how liberation theologies relate to queer studies and the lives of queer believers.
