Project Description:The Endpoint Visibility, Awareness and Security (EVAS) will implement a new, competitively procured, standard endpoint security solution that will provide an accurate and up-to-date view of all Shared Services Canada (SSC)/Government of Canada (GC) endpoint devices. EVAS will allow SSC partners, as well as GC customers and enterprise service organizations, to ensure endpoint devices on SSC/GC networks are properly tracked, managed and secured.The project will allow SSC to provide security with real-time information to prioritize remediation efforts, and Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS) will be equipped with an enterprise view of IT assets to be able to assess true GC exposure to a cyber attack and take the appropriate steps to respond and defend. Tasks Performed:• Ensure that business requirements are clearly identified, prioritized and satisfied by appropriate technical and or business process solutions.• Demonstrate strong business domain knowledge and ability to communicate technical problems and impacts into business language that can be understood by diverse stakeholders. • Ensure projects align with the goals of the GC National Cyber Security Strategy.• Elicit, analyze, document and validate business requirements, user stories, process flows to identify system processes and solution components.• Preparation of Requirements Matrix, Use Cases, and User Stories.• Communicate with project managers, subject matter experts, end users, and SSC senior management.• Identify and highlights problem areas, gaps or conflicts derived from information gathered.• Document risks and potential impacts, incorporating risk planning and mitigation.• Conduct project review sessions, workshops, obtain sign offs.• Work with third party vendors.• Understand impact of integrating third party solutions to overall systems architecture and processes.• Assist with post implementation support.
