About Max Hughes

Highly motivated Real Estate and Finance student at CU Boulder, graduating in 2027. This summer I'm interning at Talon Private Capital, a commercial real estate private equity firm in Bellevue, where I work on underwriting and valuation across live acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing while building AI tools to help streamline the firm's day-to-day workflows. Last summer I interned at CBRE in Seattle across office leasing, office sales, and multifamily sales, supporting underwriting, market research, BOV development, prospecting, and client materials. I previously served as President of Sigma Nu's Gamma Kappa chapter, the oldest and largest at CU Boulder with over 170 members. Leading an organization that size taught me how to lead under pressure, manage competing priorities, and keep a large group working toward shared goals. I also coached youth sports and competed in lacrosse at a high level. Outside of work, endurance sports are a big part of my life. I've completed a full Ironman in Madison, multiple marathons, a Half Ironman, and a 50-mile ultramarathon I organized to raise money for men's mental health and suicide prevention. That training is where I've learned the most about discipline and consistency. I'm focused on building a long-term career in real estate and finance, and I'm always excited to connect with others in the industry!
