ABOUT HUGH GARVEY
Hugh Garvey is an award-winning editor and writer. He is currently editor-in-chief of Sunset Publishing. Prior to Sunset he was Head of Content at Playboy Enterprises where he oversaw the company’s magazine, digital editorial, social media, and video strategy. He ran the company’s branded content studio, developing programs for Stoli, Guinness, Crown Royal, and John Varvatos. As a top editor at Bon Appétit, he helped see the publication through one redesign and one major rebrand. His culture and lifestyle journalism has appeared in Condé Nast Traveler, Wired, GQ, Travel + Leisure, and T: the New York Times Style Magazine. His writing has been anthologized in Best Food Writing and his Playboy columns have garnered multiple awards and honors. He is co-author of the Gastrokid Cookbook: How to Feed a Foodie Family in a Fast Food World and the best-selling Trejo\'s Tacos: Recipes and Stories from LA, and most recently Trejo\'s Cantina: Cocktails, Snacks, and Amazing Non-Alcoholic Drinks from the Heart of Hollywood.
