ABOUT HUGH BRISTOW
As a 45th year as a valuer draws to a close, I am moving towards eventual retirement in a consultancy role with CivicMJD which will see me continue to draw on my experience interspersed with some rest and recreation. I have cars and pianos to attend to. I can look back on some massive shifts in the world not to mention the profession whilst still looking forward to a few new challenges. If anyone remembers the hand cranked Roneo-Xerox carbon duplicating machine that cadets were blooded on in the 70\'s, then stop all the chatter about the good ol\'days and thank those lucky stars it\'s 2024.
