Collaborate in interdepartmental teams to manage E&P onshore projects in the Central Region - primarily focused in the Illinois Basin. • With assistance from the land analysts and others in the land department, monitor and fulfill contractual obligations related to all company assets within the region.• Market assets and source buyers for divestitures and continuously scout for and review possible acquisitions. When potential deals are located, quarterback the process from start to finish, including deal evaluation, negotiations, due diligence and closing, among other things. • Communicate with outside operators, working interest owners, and state agencies on behalf of Citation for all matters pertaining to the region.• Negotiate and draft various surface and sub-surface contracts including, but not limited to, damage releases, rights-of-way, salt water disposal agreements, mineral and royalty deeds, assignments, joint operating agreements and farmout agreements.
