ABOUT HUBERT KDAYSSI

From programming game mods as a kid to managing my own stock portfolio in high school to working as an event photographer during college to teaching myself software engineering, I’ve always appreciated a good challenge.For instance, in my first software position, I took the initiative to build a video transcoding and distribution pipeline streamlining an hour-long manual process to just a few clicks. I designed the system from the ground up weighing simplicity, maintainability, maximum automation and value add.Instead of specializing in one area, I have experience with a wide variety of tools allowing me to be adaptable and create solutions for diverse goals. For example, this could mean tuning an Elasticsearch search engine, updating a Kafka pipeline for action tracking, building a business intelligence dashboard, or setting up services with Intercom to handle sales funnels.Due to my degree in business economics, I approach problems from a technical standpoint as well as a business one.In my current role, I launched a portal for our members to access their health data, schedule medical appointments and view doctor recommendations. We also are developing a provider portal so that our team of doctors is able to view test results.I recently returned from a year living in Europe and Asia as a digital nomad. My experiences there have given me a fresh perspective on the work we do, the products we create and their position and impact in the global market.Outside of work, I like to golf, cycle and play classical guitar.
