Most recently, at SC Johnson & Son, Bernd served as Global CISO – here, he leveraged NIST cybersecurity framework to mitigate cybersecurity risks. Furthermore, he introduced DevSecOps, platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and SAFE practices. By architecting a long-term robust information security (IS) strategy, Bernd helped reduce cybersecurity threats and incidents. In this role, he led Azure cloud transformation by establishing DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-code automation. Earlier as CTO & Director, Enterprise Architecture & Operations, Bernd fueled rapid business growth and competitive advantage with large-scale, transformational technology solutions. Here, he directed technical project life cycles with focus on designing clear roadmaps and easy-to-follow plans that ensured flawless execution.
