Serve (in my Fircrest City Council capacity) on the 18-member board of directors for the regional agency that provides mass transit services to a district that covers 3 counties and 53 cities - an area home tomore than 40% of Washington State\'s population. • The Board establishes policies and gives direction and oversight. At critical milestones of every voter-approved project, the Board makes key decisions by adopting budgets, identifying alternatives to include in environmental review, selecting the preferred alternative, determining the final project to be built and establishing baselines for project scope, schedule and budget. The Board also approves major contracts.
