Responsible for a broad and evolving range of servicing management duties related to a robust portfolio of commercial real estate balance sheet loans, as well as additional duties related to the administration of construction loans.• Responsible for the oversight and management of a $4.6B portfolio of first mortgage and mezzanine loans located throughout the United States including hotels, condo developments and conversions, office, and multifamily with specific expertise in New York, California and Florida markets.• Analyze property operations reports against budgets and business plans.• Oversee receipt, review and accurate disbursement of all construction draw requests ensuring debt service is accounted for in each advance when applicable, review budget line items and contingency usage requests, and insure required documentation (i.e. title endorsement, consultant’s recommendation, internal approvals) is received prior to each disbursement. Review and provide recommendation of soft cost draw.• Monitor all construction loan repayments and verify accuracy of payments. Prepare payoffs letters and direct appropriate application of funds. • Assess business line adherence to credit policy and procedures and regulatory guidelines and laws. • Collaborate with business line management to ensure key risk issues are identified and action plans to resolve or reduce undue risk are effectively designed and implemented.• Review all billing statements and supporting payment schedules prepared by Loan Servicing.• Provide assistance and mentoring to Loan Servicing analysts.• Serve as the subject matter expert on construction loan administration issues.• Designed and conducted colleague training. Created operations policy and procedure manual.
