Hrvoje is a Managing Director in PwC’s Deals practice in Los Angeles. Hrvoje\'s first three years with PwC were split between Audit practice and the Mergers and Acquisitions (\"M&A\") Deals Group. This period allowed him to become well versed in the technical accounting matters of US GAAP as he applied them to both audit engagements and M&A due diligence projects. Hrvoje\'s decision to concentrate on M&A transactions resulted in his full time dedication to financial due diligence and its focus on business risks and trends, normalized earnings, accounting exposures and optimization of the deal structure. Hrvoje has been involved in the due diligence of several hundred deals ranging from $5 million to more than $25 billion in a wide range of industries (services, consumer and industrial products, temporary staffing, internet service providers, entertainment, pharmaceuticals, software, etc.) for both financial and corporate clients including a number of cross border transactions. Hrvoje has assisted corporate and private equity clients by leading acquisition and divestiture diligence projects and coordinating efforts with other PwC diligence teams including tax, valuation, information technology, human resources and risk management. Hrvoje has provided advice in carve-out situations, negotiation of purchase agreements, as well as resolution of purchase price adjustment disputes.
