Born and brought up in Mumbai, spent 4 years in IIT Guwahati doing (everything but) a B.Tech. in Mechanical Eng, ended up in Bangalore following my dreams. I love music, and occasionally ruin songs on @tiktik_tunes [instagram]. Passionate about education, I actively volunteer. Always open to contributing time or skills for the cause.At Microsoft, I\'m a full-stack software engineer at MS Teams impacting 300M+. Over the years, I\'ve- Built an ASP.NET microservice, sending near real-time [P99 50%. Designed LLDs for multiple service integrations, wrote code for a lot of the implementation above, worked on multiple engineering health items, improved the service availability to 99.9+- Built an ASP.NET microservice, enabling Calendar Notifications in Teams [P99 30%(No kidding!). Apart from LLDs and writing code, I worked on integrating with the Teams App platform, also maintaining the Front End- Built a Front End feature using React & GraphQL, showing a live banner to JOIN and interact with active meetings, and with meeting info, people currently in-call, time elapsed, etc. I architected the data flows, built UI components, worked on accessibility, livesite, and scale readiness- Architected and built a Full Stack feature, which unfurls a meeting link pasted in MS Teams, where attendees can do all Calendar related interactions without going to Calendar. Built an API to support private meeting scenarios, improved latency by 30% shifting data manipulation on service side. Created modular, re-usable Front End Meeting Chiclet components which are now also used by 3+ different teams for various purposes- I now own the Meeting Options and Meeting Templates platform, affecting every single Teams meeting, improving service reliability, developing features and fixing fires across 5+ repos, onboarded 6+ partners- Took on various projects greatly improving dev productivity, including small scripts to full blown automations.I love building things- I built, deployed and manage a full stack chat application with a cool UI, and 20+ users [mostly my friends], with cool messaging features, E2E encryption, full blown text editor- I built an inventory manager for my dad\'s shop, which manages inventory, creates bills, and has a buyer and owner dashboard. This is still used to date!I mostly work on-[FE] React & GraphQL-[BE] ASP. NETCurrently exploring how AI can make my life better!

   Role: Full stack Software EngineerStack/Framework: ASP.NET, C#, React, GraphQL- I own and manage the meeting options and meeting templates platform on Teams, affecting EVERY single Teams meeting! I contribute to multiple Front End repos, and own, build and maintain multiple services and APIs on the Backend- I contribute to the 1JS library to make common React Components used across M365 Products- Improved client side reliability from 97.x to 99+, with improved UX to reduce customer incidents- Led a backend real-time APIs and corresponding data migration project, which reduces the need for one whole service, and improves overall latency- Streamlined platform onboarding and debugging using Custom Copilot Agents, Development Prompts, Office Hours.
