Software Engineer with hands-on experience designing and owning critical backend systems that operate at scale across cloud and restricted on-prem environments. Currently at Cimpress, where I lead the development of core platform services that directly support large-scale manufacturing and production workflows.I have end-to-end ownership of systems such as an OS-agnostic File Transfer Service that forms the backbone of the Boxup-CUPS delivery pipeline and enabled the successful production of 5M+ cups. I design event-driven, fully idempotent architectures using AWS (SQS, ECS, API Gateway, CloudWatch), with a strong focus on reliability, fault tolerance, observability, and zero data loss—especially in VPN-restricted, on-prem deployments.Previously at Media.net, I worked on high-throughput systems (2.5K+ QPS), migrating services from PHP to Go to achieve measurable performance and cost improvements. My work included building Redis/Aerospike-backed caching platforms, Kafka-based logging pipelines, and concurrency-controlled background services for large-scale data processing.I gravitate toward problems involving distributed systems, system reliability, retries and idempotency, and performance optimization, and I enjoy translating ambiguous requirements into robust, production-ready designs.Outside of work, I’m deeply invested in data structures and algorithms and competitive programming. I’m a LeetCode Guardian (2280, Top 0.7%), ICPC Regionalist, and have achieved strong global rankings in Google Kick Start and Meta HackerCup.
