Designing and implementing real-time embedded algorithms in C/C++ and Python for a wearable navigation assistant, enabling object detection and spatial feedback for visually impaired users as a part of my university Capstone Project and sponsored by Synaptics-Interfacing LiDAR and ultrasonic sensors over I2C and SPI, and integrating data processing on Synaptics Astra AI Board for edge inference-Modeling system behavior using Finite State Machines (FSMs) in MATLAB/Simulink to enable sensor- driven control logic and validate real-time response-Collaborating in an Agile environment with Synaptics engineers to prototype hardware-in-the-loop testing and ensure robust feedback mechanisms via audio and haptic alerts.
