About Heather Redman

Heather is Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Flying Fish Partners, a venture firm investing in artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics companies. She currently serves on two corporate boards: PPL Corp.(NYSE: PPL) and privately held Coldstream Holdings Inc. Heather\'s career has spanned product, finance, operations, strategy, and legal roles. She began her career as a lawyer at a top firm working in technology. She became general counsel to two internet companies, first Photodisc followed by Getty Images, which she took public at age 32. She then moved to her first business operations role, heading product development and acquisition for Atom until the company\'s sale. She then spent over a decade at Summit Power in various c-suite roles, working on wind, solar, and natural gas development, new energy technologies, and project finance. Heather made the leap back into tech with an operations role at Indix before co-founding a venture firm focused on seed investments in AI companies. She is experienced in disruptive technologies, corporate development and finance, business development and intellectual property strategy, and M&A. Heather\'s current industry and civic boards include the Washington Technology Industry Association (past Chair), the Greater Seattle Chamber (past Chair), Institute of Systems Biology, the Hawthorn Club, Technology Alliance, Ruckelshaus Center, and Washington State University. Heather holds a JD (with distinction) from Stanford and her BA from Reed. She was named director of the Year in 2019 and to the Power 100 in 2020, 2021, and 2022 by the Puget Sound Business Journal.
