As a leader in businesses in various sectors, I have developed and executed plans for Resiliency, Computer Forensics, Data Protection and Privacy. This passion for the profession hasn\'t waned in years I have been in Data Protection, which is why I am a proud member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, ISSA, ISC2, ISACA, the Cloud Security Alliance, InfraGard Atlanta Members Alliance, and the FAIR Institute. I am honored to have been awarded ISSA\'s 2024 Blazing Star award.There are many ways to tackle a problem, but in my experience, there is usually one that travels the path of least resistance and is best for the business in terms of resources and time. Often, however, in the world today, it happens that teams have to pull together solutions from duct tape and chicken wire. Keeping the business running is paramount, but one eye should always be firmly affixed to finding the right solutions to our challenges. Get it running now, is important, but making sure you don\'t forget to get the issue FIXED is vital. Masking the symptoms is not curing the problem. I want to solve the problems.As a Privacy Professional, I think often about what information should be given on Social Media and Professional sites like LinkedIn. Then my degree in Marketing kicks in, and I begin to write and update my profile.I find public speaking and sharing my experiences in Privacy, Data Protection, Governance, Security, and EDiscovery, to be extremely enjoyable. Throughout my life, I have been a Student, a Teacher, an Author, and a Storyteller.
