Dr. Parvataneni’s career has been dedicated to the highest-quality arthroplasty care and academic medicine. He has extensive experience in education, mentorship, quality of care innovations, clinical research, enhanced recovery and improved outcomes after surgery and value based care. He has proudly provided high-quality care for over fifteen years in Florida, recently as a professor at the University of Florida and as Arthroplasty Division Chief. His collaborative patient-centered work was pivotal in the department achieving its highest ranking ever by US News. Dr. Parvataneni started the first Academic Outpatient Arthroplasty Program in Florida. He has mentored more than fifty arthroplasty surgeons, been awarded seven teaching and mentorship awards, is a national examiner for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and serves on the editorial boards of several major medical journals.
