With over a decade of experience in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation, I currently serve as an Associate Professor at the University of California, San Diego. My expertise lies in clinical research, medical education, and patient-centered approaches to heart failure management. Previously, as Medical Director of Quality at UC San Diego Health, I contributed to advancing quality care in mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation.    As Executive Director of Heart Failure at Hoag Clinic, I oversee the growth and integration of advanced heart failure services across the Hoag system, including cardiogenic shock care, mechanical circulatory support, and LVAD therapy. My focus is on building a high-performing multidisciplinary program that combines the rigor of academic medicine with the accessibility and responsiveness of a community health system.Through collaboration with cardiologists, surgeons, intensivists, and regional referring physicians, our goal is to bring the most advanced heart failure therapies closer to the communities we serve while establishing Hoag as a premier center for advanced cardiovascular care in Southern California.
