ABOUT HOWARD BROWN

Executive leader, brand strategist, and social entrepreneur with 20+ years building mission-driven organizations and culturally influential brands across media, nonprofit, and global consumer sectors. My career spans leadership roles at ESPN and URBN (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People), where I helped build culturally influential brands and global consumer platforms. I later co-founded sustainable fashion pioneer Stewart+Brown and helped shape the internationally recognized Keep A Breast Foundation—leading brand strategy, integrated marketing, and experiential campaigns that drive cultural relevance and measurable impact. As a thought leader in sustainable fashion, ethical business, and mission-driven leadership, I’ve launched circular-economy initiatives, authored sustainability reports, and advised mission-driven organizations such as Textile Exchange. As founder of Futureadi®, I consulted with purpose-led companies to integrate brand, digital, product, and sustainability strategy—helping them create platforms where people connect, belong, and thrive. I’ve developed omnichannel marketing ecosystems, shaped go-to-market strategies, and produced experiential activations, events, and brand partnerships across diverse sectors. My work has been recognized by WGSN, Wired, L’Uomo Vogue, Outside Magazine, AIGA, Cannes Lions, and the Art Directors Club of New York. I also serve as Chairman Emeritus of Exeter Youth Basketball, a nonprofit organization I co-founded that grew into one of the fastest-growing youth sports organizations in New England, focused on youth development and community engagement. I bring a unique blend of executive creative leadership, marketing strategy, entrepreneurial grit, and storytelling instinct. I’m now focused on partnering with organizations that are ready to lead with purpose, elevate their brand, and create lasting cultural and social value. I welcome conversations with universities, cultural institutions, and mission-driven organizations seeking leadership at the intersection of brand, culture, and institutional growth.
