As a software developer I conducted code reviews and provided feedback for teams, department wide. I helped code/develop the costcotravel.com website towards a new responsive design that was provided by a design consulting firm. The front-end js framework utilized JQuery and Backbone while the backend was written in the JSP framework with a SQL Server database. A lot of the work entailed figuring out the existing business logic/functionality/use cases of the old website and making sure that the relevant functionality was recreated on the new framework. My responsibilities as an accessibility lead include interpreting guidelines and violations from our consultant accessibility audit and translating the violations into business requirements for our product owners and agile teams to carry out. I also provide technical guidance for our devs to address these violations and answered any questions they had regarding accessibility.
