I am an accomplished IT leader with a proven track record of partnering with business leaders to find new ways of leveraging IT and analytics to transform how they manage the organization. I like to create analytical products from “question to answer” including problem framing, data modeling and validation, exploratory analysis and visualization, enterprise dashboard publication with security. I have done this for the past nine years for an academic surgical practice with over 250M in annual revenue. Experience IT Team Management I manage a seasoned team with enough diverse experience that we excel at accomplishing what needs to be done with short timelines using lean and agile techniques. During our recent restructuring, I was chosen to lead a team merged from our IT and Media groups. With half the staffing, we have expanded our services and continue to provide all our previous ones by using selective outsourcing while reducing our operating budget by 40% over the past five years. Business Analytics Development With nine years of experience with Tableau. I take analyst ideas and turning them into interactive dashboards that adapt their view and story based on the individual viewers security. Our projects have freed our administrative team from searching multiple sources for their clinical and ledger data by consolidating them into a single report structure saving them two days of effort each month while providing more detailed insight into their operations. Data Modeling Following our recent move to a new EMR system, I built a hybrid data model design that pulls from a variety of systems. The results provide an integrated data rich model with transaction level details of our clinical performance and revenue. Robotic Process Automation We are useing Smartsheet to build several business-related RPAs. We reduced our time to onboard new faculty by streamlining, automating and tracking key steps.
