I am an experienced, hands-on information technology developer and manager with proven success delivering large scale, complex financial industry applications. In recent years, my focus has been on developing algo trading applications, both equity and fixed income, and AI applications. I am a Teaching Adjunct (TA) in the Masters of Financial Engineering (MFE) program for two programs:• Big Data in Finance course (covering machine learning using Python). As part of this position, I developed financial AI models using Scikit-Learn, Keras and Tensorflow. I also taught an introductory class about Deep Learning. In 2023, I implemented discrete and continuous jump models for identifying financial regimes in Python from scratch and presented the results to the class.• Natural Language Processing course providing a hands-on introduction to processing natural language with an emphasis on applications in finance. Used Google COLAB for python coding with tools such as HuggingFace, Spacy etc.I also studied Mandarin Chinese at the college.
