Howard Simkevitz is a senior lawyer with diverse experience, strong business acumen and particular expertise in privacy, information technology, research and business law. Howard is a long-standing executive member of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations Privacy and Access Law sections, an adjunct professor at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Ted Rogers School of Management and has been a Visiting Fellow in Technology Law, Canada Centre for Global Security Studies at the Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto. He is the coauthor of The Law of Employee Use of Technology, published by Canada Law Book and has written numerous papers and has been a frequent speaker on a wide range of topics including privacy, information technology, cybersecurity and Internet regulation.
