ABOUT HOWARD PRIDE
Scope of Howard Pride’s Experience Howard Pride completed his Master of Arts in Teaching in August (2013) from Trevecca University in Nashville, TN. Howard Pride has 17+years of experience in athletics! His Basketball experience includes working on 3 different tiers of basketball that include professional, collegiate and high school. Professionally he worked a year in the role of (Director of Player Relations) for Pro One Sports. Collegially he worked at Belmont University, University of Alabama, Tennessee State University, Howard University, and University of Alabama-Birmingham(UAB). The high school experience has been both private; Freedom Academy & Rocket City Cowboys (Head Football Coach), Montgomery Bell Academy and Westminster Christian Academy (Counselor, History teacher and Head basketball & baseball Coach) and public; Alma Bryant High School (AL), Warren County High School (TN), Decatur High School (AL) Head Basketball Coach & History Teacher, and Butler High School(AL) Graduation Coach & Assistant Athletic Director. Pride has also worked and taught classes (Citizenship & Leadership) with the Boys and Girls Club (Huntsville, AL), and been Principal of the Saturday School (Backfield in Motion), and worked with the Charles Davis Foundation (Nashville, TN). Pride earned his bachelors degree from Vanderbilt University in Human and Organizational Development and Minored in Sociology.
