Hello! I have been involved in education, instructional design and performance technology for over 40 years; including corporate positions with Health Net, Xerox Corporation, Apple Computer and RTC.I am the founder of and currently serving as President and Chief Learning Architect for Integrated Performance Solutions, Inc.(IPS). IPS specializes in instructional design, eLearning development, mobile learning and performance improvement solutions that drive business results. Under my leadership, IPS has designed and developed over 3,500 custom training programs – on time and on budget – for a variety of job functions across a number of industries. To name a few, I have been involved in areas such as leadership, management, sales and marketing, engineering, safety, medical management, customer service, and performance management on both the national and international experience. In addition, I serve as an adjunct professor with Colorado State University teaching High-Impact, On-Demand Performance Solutions. In the past, Howard also served as an adjunct professor for Pepperdine University and the University of Hawaii teaching subjects such as learning and technology, education program development and evaluation, knowledge management and adult learning theory. Howard earned his doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Technology and International Training from the University of Southern California; Master’s degree from West Virginia University in Occupational Safety and Health; and, Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Interpretation from Colorado State University.Dr. Lewis is also a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT). This designation is awarded by the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) to experienced practitioners in the field of Organizational Performance Improvement.
