Largest United States operating foundation supporting vulnerable children, teens, young adults, and families in child welfare; Design and implement national strategies to integrate youth and workforce development within public child welfare and private voluntary agency settings. Strategized and engineered youth and workforce development, skills training service methodologies to enable county governments, private agencies to sustain coordinated and comprehensive youth workforce development programming for young adults, ages 18 to 21, in residential facilities, group homes, and family-based placement.Instituted pathways for hard-to-reach youth populations to connect to education and workforce developments services by establishing strategic partnerships through a community-centered engagement model. Launched two sites in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Advised and led efforts with the leadership of the New York State Office of Children and Family Services to reform statewide systems focused on teenagers in the child welfare and juvenile justice system.Beginning in 2011, led Casey Family Programs efforts in New York State and upstate and Long Island counties to improve outcomes for youth in care and strengthen communities in keeping children safe and thriving.
