About Howard Friedman
As the Chief Data Scientist, I have led a network of experts in health economics and outcomes research, supporting clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, digital health, and health care sectors as well as leading data modeling teams in industries such as consumer finance, real estate and retail. I am also an Adjunct Professor of Data Science, Statistics, and Program Evaluation at Columbia University, where I teach graduate-level courses. I am also a Data Scientist and Health Economist in the public sector, where I direct the development of data analytics and health economics research in support of key institutional mandates and global health goals. Additionally, I have a number of best selling books including Measure of a Nation, Ultimate Price and Winning with Data Science. I have published over 100 scientific papers on data-related topics, and I speak English, Spanish, French and some Mandarin. My mission is to apply data science to make a difference in the world.
