During this time the chapter has built a strong development team and revenue has grown from just over 2 million dollars to 7.5 million dollars. We have been able to collaborate with our national partners to secure gifts from to over Our objective has been to establish a workable strategy for each of the key performance indicators.• Planned and organized small capital campaign for our new offices in Southington and raised commitments in excess of Planned and organized overall development strategy and tactics for the entire Connecticut Region.• Worked collaboratively with national planned giving staff to identify, cultivate and solicit planned giving prospects for the state.• Worked with Communications director to enhance the visibility of the planned giving option for supporters of the organization.• Used e newsletter, print media, special mailings to elder law attorneys and parlor meetings to enhance the reach of the planned giving department’s messaging.• Grew legacy gifts from in 2008 to over in 2010.• Created and developed plan to establish a major gifts initiative for the Connecticut Region.• Established a regional model for the establishment of major gifts effort.• Began the training of regional staff using a university model for fundraising coverage of geographic regions.• Initiated solicitation of Alzheimer’s board.• Worked in collaboration with national staff to identify and cultivate state wide prospects for legacy and annual commitments.• Overall Connecticut revenues grew from $1,322,612 in 2008 to $2,257,890
