Experienced investor with an exceptional track record in corporate credit including high yield bonds, broadly syndicated loans, club middle market loans, and privately originated middle market loans. Solid foundation in fundamental bottoms up investment analysis: company and industry research, financial statement analysis, modeling/scenario analysis, valuations/comp research, credit agreement/indenture review, and distilling corporate documentation/SEC filings. Build and maintain relationships with sponsors and executive leadership of mid-market companies. Maintain astute knowledge of industry specific trends by speaking with management teams, industry consultants, customers, suppliers, competitors, and sell-side analysts. Student of advancements and applications of artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies across industries as well as broader implications to financial markets and the economy. Demonstrated strengths in the following areas- Fundamental bottoms-up analysis of corporations with experience across a broad industry set - Investment analysis focused on total return with a value-oriented approach - Identifying strengths and weaknesses of credit agreements and bond indentures - Structuring M&A and LBO transactions and negotiating credit documents - Originating new opportunities from sponsors, management, advisors, and investment bankers - Significant institutional portfolio management experience within corporate credit - Managing risk within portfolios comprised of loans and high yield bonds (e.g. Unleveraged Funds, CLOs, BDCs, SMAs, CEFs, etc)- Building asset management platforms including investment and portfolio management processes, risk management, operational processes, technology selection/building/implementation, as well as team building and management.
