ABOUT ALEXANDER HORN
I am passionate about understanding businesses. Following my passion I obtained CFA and CPA professional qualifications and attended several Executive Education programs. My daily job since 2006 has been mainly to perform Financial Due Diligence on privately held mid-cap companies.Additionally, I have three other areas of expertise/interest:1. Languages: I am fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, German, English and currently learn Spanish. Broad mix of languages and qualifications allows me to deliver additional value on cross-boarder transactions especially between the DACH-region, Ukrainian / Russian speaking countries and the United States.2. Stock Investments: I am a value investor following Warren Buffett principles of investing in wonderful businesses at a fair price.3. Start-up Investments: I entered into this investment field in 2013. My current investment strategy is to support start-ups with over 7 years of operations such as BrewDog. I am a big fan of companies creating qualitatively better food, healthier products or better environment.
