About Horak Robert
I am passionate about utilizing my 30+ years of experience in the private capital markets to provide insightful valuation and transaction opinion services and deliver meaningful information and perspective on the state of the market. In my valuation practice, I focus primarily on the valuation of illiquid debt and equity securities for fair value accounting purposes within the portfolios of asset managers and investment funds. Clients include private credit funds, private equity funds, business development companies, hedge funds, credit opportunity funds, pension funds, insurance companies and mutual funds. I enjoy speaking and writing about the state of the private capital markets and believe I can provide unique and valuable insights on these relatively opaque markets due to the large and growing scale of Lincoln\'s Valuations Group and our proprietary experience with and exposure to thousands of portfolio companies. Prior to joining the Valuations & Opinions Group, I spent 18 years in Lincoln’s Capital Advisory Group, and served as co-head. Prior to joining Lincoln, I spent 13 years as a private credit lender including nine years at Heller Financial and three years at GE Capital.
