Oversight responsibilities include The Gambia, Indonesia, and Mozambique; previous responsibilities included Tunisia and Ghana. • Provided (20••••24) agency wide thought leadership on resilient and sustainable infrastructure solutions, including: supported the development of the Agency’s first Climate Change Strategy and management of MCC’s climate change contract to implement the Strategy; led MCC’s work on the President’s Emergency Plan for Adaptation and Resilience (PREPARE); represented the Agency on multiple National Security Council climate related meetings and workstream efforts, and; led agency engagement for multiple international forums, including for COPs 26, 27, and 29.MCC is a bilateral United States foreign aid agency that provides time-limited grants (average size of $340 million) to the world’s poorest countries that are committed to just and democratic governance, economic freedom and investing in their populations.
