Ibn Haldun University aims to stand out as a \"research university\" in Türkiye and the world with the quality of education it provides and the research projects it conducts. Ibn Haldun University (IHU) is a foundation university established by TÜRGEV. It was opened in 2015 and started education by accepting students in the 20••••18 academic year. Ibn Haldun University Complex was built in Başakşehir, taking the Ottoman madrasa architecture as an example. More than 50% of our students are enrolled in graduate programs (master’s and doctoral levels). IHU has the following faculties: School of Education, School of Law, School of Communication, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Islamic Studies, School of Business. The languages of instruction at IHU are Turkish, Arabic and English. Learning these languages is a graduation requirement. In addition, Western languages such as German, Spanish, Russian and French, as well as Eastern languages such as Chinese and Malay are taught as electives. Approximately one-third of our students are international students. Dormitory opportunities are offered to the majority of our students, especially those coming from outside the province. As a truly foundation university, our students pursue their education at our university with the support of extensive scholarship opportunities.
