First elected in 2009 and re-elected for a second four-year term in November 2013. Credited with reducing government spending by over 30% through process improvements, advising policy makers of revenue projections to temper spending, refinancing debt, and aggressive audits. While simultaneously, strongly advocating for investment in essential services, infrastructure, public transportation, affordable housing, water quality and social services.
