I am a Partner in EY Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) group, based in San Francisco, and currently serve as the financial services (FSO) FAAS Strategic Transaction Solution Leader. With more than 17 years of experience, I advise clients across the financial services sector, including banks, fintech and payment companies, crypto natives, wealth and asset management companies, and insurance firms, on complex transactions and finance transformation.My work spans the entire transaction lifecycle, with deep experience in mergers and acquisitions (M & As), carve-outs, IPOs including foreign private issuer (FPI), and SPACs. I lead teams across multiple geographical locations, focusing on helping clients not only execute transactions but also integrate finance functions and drive transformation initiatives that enable long-term success.Key areas of expertise:1. Transaction support: Public company readiness assessments, accounting due diligence support and policy alignment, pre-close integration planning, Day 1 purchase accounting and financial reporting, and post-close finance integration. SEC reporting: Preparation of SEC filing forms such as Form S-1/F-1, Form S-4/proxy statement, Form 10, Form 8-K, Form 10-K, and Form 10-Q, including S-X compliant financial statements, MD & A and Article 11 pro forma financials, segment reporting, and SEC comment letter responses. Financial reporting: IFRS to US GAAP conversion and implementation of new accounting standards under US GAAP. Finance processes and controls: Acceleration of financial close, SOX readiness, governance, and process optimization. Crypto and digital assets: Audit readiness and emerging accounting and SEC reporting on digital assets including stablecoins, such as SAB 122.6. CFO/advisory impact: Partnering with executives and boards to turn strategic transactions and finance transformation into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making, risk management, and long-term strategic value.
