In Bing, I have founded, built the video search team back to 2005, and made Bing video search be the world leading with the unique invention: hover over to view the summary of video. As an article from PCWorld,\"When you\'re searching for a video, only one site will do: Bing.\"! Video search needs not only typical search engine techniques like distributed system, large scale data, crawling, index building and serving, but also lots of multimedia processing technique like key frame detection, audio breaking, adult content detecting et al. I have leaded the Bing index serve team to make tremendous improvements and revolutions to existing serving platform like optimizing aggregation architecture for better performance, redesign the online caching system with over 10x performance and throughput improvements, make the system more resilient to tolerate failures and improve the live site robustness. To bring Bing techniques for Office products, I have founded a team inside Index Serve to prototype how Bing can make Office greater. A couple of new techniques were invented and became popular inside Microsoft like search inside Object Store. I was asked to manage the whole Bing crawler team to bring Bingbot to next generation at 3/2015. Crawler is the first and one of the most critical step of search engine. The team is responsible to discover, select, schedule and fetch trillions of web documents including pages and multimedia. Besides the large scale crawling system, we invented many large scale data mining techniques like web inlink/outlink graph, static ranks, domain ranks, spam detector, web modeling et al. Overall, I am a persistent top performer in Microsoft. I have demonstrated consistent results in creating world-class products and services, and scaling them out successfully; I am experienced at building and leading great teams across geographical boundaries.
