ABOUT JERRY WELLER

Former Cong. Jerry Weller continues to serve as a Senior Advisor to Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg LLP, a leading trade and international law firm with offices around the world. He is also the managing partner for NWG Advocacy. This boutique firm is an international public affairs, strategic consulting and business development with offices in Washington, DC and Guatemala City. NWG Advocacy serves a variety of clients in health care, energy, finance, telecommunications, agriculture and manufacturing sectors. Former Cong. Jerry Weller is currently a Founder of Feegoo International LLC in Prishtina, Kosova. Feegoo is a revolutionary product with multiple applications as it reduces energy consumption by almost two-thirds in heating applications. Former Congressman (19••••09), during tenure in the US House of Representatives and as a Member of the Ways & Means Committee, advocated tax policies that fostered investment in job creation and protected the environment while promoting energy independence from imported oil through the expanded use of biofuels, energy efficiency and alternative sources of energy. In 2005, policies advocated soon increased domestic energy development and became law. Promoted tax incentives for environmental cleanup and development of abandoned brownfield sites revitalizing blighted communities. While serving 14 years in Congress, earned positioning as a member of The House \'Ways & Means Subcommittee on Trade,\' making the case that trade helps eliminate poverty and creates jobs while advocating for expanded trade in the Western Hemisphere and helped lead efforts to ratify the DR-CAFTA and Peru Trade agreements. Advocated ratification of the Colombia, South Korea and Panama TPAs and promoted waterway infrastructure investment to expand exports. Also served on the \'Ways & Means Subcommittee on Income Security & Family Support\' while partnering with his Democratic Chairman to author major reforms to federal adoption and foster care laws. Passionate about Foster Care, Adoption and advocating for children and non-profit organizations. Honored to have as an aide to the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture and to have served in the Illinois General Assembly. Proudly maintain the Weller Family farm which was once home to an internationally recognized swine breeding operation that sold seed stock to over 30 countries.
