Terri Layton / Real Estate Broker since 2004, Member of Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors & Masters Circle. Have been involved in the real estate arena for 29 years. I\'m a native Portlander and Tigard resident which allows me to stay closely connected to the communities and local brokers. My background/experience/training - I started rehabbing homes in 1975 for work during my summer breaks. In 1992 I purchased my first property and have since purchased 6 properties in Oregon and 1 in So California for resale. I have extensive remodel and design experience and I know how to \'dress up\' or \'stage\' a home so it will stand out and be the most attractive to buyers and attain the maximum sales price for the seller. My education started with an Associates Paralegal certification which trained me in contracts. The contracts and addendums I write are specific and clear so there isn\'t any misunderstanding or ambiguity between parties. From 19••••96 I worked in mortgage lending. I returned to PSU to finish my Bachelors degree with a minor in Real Estate Development. I worked for a developer in the interim to educate myself on development which I also enjoy.
